Plastic Waste Recycling

The Plastic Predicament

About

An estimated 8.3 billion metric tons of plastic have been produced to date. Plastics, being non-biodegradable, endure in the environment for hundreds of years. As a result, the majority of this versatile but environmentally harmful material finds its way into landfills, oceans, and ecosystems, wreaking havoc on our planet’s health.

The consequences are; littered landscapes, choked waterways, and marine life struggling amidst plastic-laden oceans.

Our Sustainable Solution

We have embarked on a relentless mission to breathe new life into discarded plastics, transforming them into beautiful pieces of art. Through ornamental gardening and decorations, we’ve harnessed the potential of plastics to not only mitigate their harmful impact but also to celebrate their versatility and potential for positive change.

The Journey Begins with Proper Waste Disposal

Our commitment to plastic waste recycling starts at the very source. Waste is diligently sorted, ensuring that every plastic item finds its rightful place in the recycling process.

We have implemented a meticulous separation process that categorizes waste according to its nature, making it ready for transformation.

Plastic waste is then thoroughly cleaned and prepared for its artistic metamorphosis. We not only recycle plastic but also discarded metal from students’ metallic beds and leftover wood from school construction.

Put together, we created an inspiring and environmentally responsible leisure park.

Our endeavours align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering progress on multiple fronts. By reducing plastic waste and reusing these materials in creative ways, we contribute to SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). By being eco-conscious, we not only contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment but also demonstrate our unwavering commitment to a more sustainable and responsible future.
